New Ctrlr Panel for GS Music e7: Easily Manage Your Presets

We are excited to announce the release of a new panel for ctrlr.org, designed specifically for the GS Music e7 synthesizer. This powerful tool allows you to effortlessly manage your presets, offering a range of features to enhance your synthesizer experience.

Key Features

  • Download and Save Presets

    • Single Preset Download: Easily transfer individual presets from your GS Music e7 to your computer.

    • Bank Download: Download complete banks or all presets and save them to your desired location.

  • SysEx File Management

    • Presets are saved as SysEx files, which can be transferred back to your GS Music e7 or any other GS Music e7 synthesizer using popular SysEx software.

    • Compatible software includes MIDI-Ox for Windows and SysEx Librarian for Mac.

  • Cross-Platform Compatibility

    • The ctrlr panel is available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, ensuring that you can manage your presets on any operating system.

  • Preset Renaming

    • Easily rename your presets to keep your library organized and accessible.

How It Works

  • Download Presets

    • Connect your GS Music e7 to your computer.

    • Use the ctrlr panel to download a single preset, a complete bank, or all presets.

    • Save the downloaded SysEx files to your desired location.

  • Transfer Presets

    • Use any SysEx software, such as MIDI-Ox for Windows or SysEx Librarian for Mac, to transfer the SysEx files back to your GS Music e7 or another GS Music e7 synthesizer.

  • MIDI Configuration

    • After opening the panel with Ctrlr, make sure you select "GS-e7 Analog Synthesizer" as the input and output from the MIDI menu.

    • Select "None" for the controller.
