Aloha Girl Scouts!
We were excited to see a wonderful report in Monday's (3/15/10)
USA Today newspaper
about Girl Scouts all over America doing their part to 'Make
the World a Better Place'.

From saving water using rain barrels and rain cisterns…
to planting trees… to recycling…
to the general preservation of our natural resources, Girl
Scouts have done themselves proud
by becoming actively involved and remaining vigilant in their
roles as stewards of nature.
We at Legend Productions continue to do our part in turning
a green leaf and being forever
green.
For example, our Girl Scouts Greatest Hits CD packaging,
as you may have noticed, has changed
from the plastic hard cases to the environment friendly Digipaks.
Nine out of our eleven volumes have now been repackaged
and we are awaiting the final two volumes (4 and 8) to complete
the set.
In conjunction with Girl Scouts of the USA's 'It's Your
Planet - Love it! project and 'Forever Green' theme,
Melinda Caroll Music for Girl Scouts presented our
10th CD
'Make the World a Better Place' in the fall of
2008.
Taking care of the place we live in is part of what we do
every day. It's what is called being 'present'
and understanding that every little thing we do to make the
world a better place
has a positive impact for us and future generations.
Being familiar
with our music, you know that we provide uplifting,
inspiring and motivational themes
as well as music that is fun and entertaining to sing and
dance to.

New Release! Vol. 11, Amazing Daisies!
This compact disc is a high energy musical introduction to the first year in Girl Scouting made especially for our youngest Girl Scouts and their leaders.
With a total of 26 songs, Amazing Daisies introduces age-appropriate,
entertaining songs and music that complement the new Girl Scout Daisy Journey Program!
Highlights include many recognizable Girl Scout favorites like a hip-hop
version of "Who Stole the Cookie From the Cookie Jar?" a jazzy "Peanut Butter," and "Alice the Camel." Plus it
introduces some soon to be Girl Scout favorites like the title track
"Amazing Daisies," new dance hit, "Move Your Dancing Feet," and
"I Am One Voice," a deeply touching and beautiful choral song, destined to become a Girl Scout classic.
Amazing Daisies also includes a number of international songs that are popular among our
Girl Guide sisters around the world, including "Epo I Tai Tai E'," a Maori greeting song celebrated as
Melinda Caroll's very first music video.

Calling all Girl Scouts! You're invited to join Legend Productions and the Girl Scouts
of Maui in celebration of our newest CD, Vol. 11 Amazing Daisies, on Juliette Low's birthday!
When: October 31st, from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
Where: On the beautiful, historic grounds of the Hui No'eau visual arts center in Makawao, Maui, Hawaii.
What: Come wearing your Halloween costume and start practicing your favorite song, skit, dance or story now!
Why: Because we'll be featuring a Maui Girl Scout Halloween talent show, Hawaiian story telling by Makamai of Ulalena,
hands-on art activities, plus refreshments and gifts for all who attend!
This party is open to all Girl Scouts in Hawaii and Girl Scout guests who may be visiting our islands!
A safe and fun way to celebrate Halloween, come and show your support of Maui Girl Scouts.

Moving Toward the 100 Anniversary
of Girl Scouts in 2012
In 2012 Girl Scouts of the USA will celebrate their 100th birthday! Over the next few years, celebrations will be taking
place all around the world. Legend Productions will be tracking
and sharing the news of these worldwide
concerts and sing-along opportunities for everyone right here on our website!
Our goal is to make Girl Scout music and songs more interactive and girl-driven as we move toward this
prestigious centennial moment in our her-story.
On March 12, 2010, Legend Productions will launch a nationwide, year-long songwriting contest
in honor of Girl Scouts of the USA's centennial. We'll be inviting girls, leaders and Girl Scout alumnae to submit
original songs, with the winners to be included in a very special 2-CD set: One for the Silver and One for the Gold.
